Distinctive Features: Arneis offers a fruity and mature aroma, with surprising harmony, straw-yellow and brilliant to the eye but intense and rich in the aromatic range. An ideal wine for an everyday meal
Vinification: After a careful selection of Arneis grapes from the Roero vineyard , the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed; the must obtained undergoes a soft pressing, before being subjected to a fermentation process at a controlled temperature. The aging takes place in stainless steel tanks on yeasts.
Grape Type: The undisputed primacy of Piedmontese white wines belongs to Arneis . A name rooted in tradition, often identified a “mischievous” character, which actually describes the wine it is associated with. Fresh, vibrant and harmonious, these are just some of the characteristics of this variety of wine.
Territory: Back in vogue in the Roero area , it is the white variety that best lends itself to cultivation in this territory with marly and sandstone origins. The roots of the vine penetrate deep into the sands and limestone, ensuring a significant nutritional supply to the vines.
