This wine is ruby in color with purple hues. On the nose it reveals aromas of cherries, red berries and sweet spices along with delicate traces of vanilla and violets. On the palate it’s well ordered and the sweet red fruit flavours persist, which makes it an easy wine to drink today. The finish is persistent and dry. A top red wine having a steady and dry finish, with red fruit flavours.
Grapes were harvested during the next week of October. Once pressed, the need to fermented for 9 days in a temperature of 26°C. In the close of the fermentation the wine is then aged in large oak barrels 12 weeks after which another 12 to 24 weeks in tank prior to bottling.
The grapes for this wine come from three Broli that compose a total of 13 hectares. Altitude is 100 meters over sea level and the soil is clay. Vines are trained using both Guyot as well as the conventional Pergola systems.The vineyards are handled following philosophical principles.
The grape varieties are 90 percent Corvina/Corvinone and 10 percent Rondinella
