Pleasant honey and malt on the nose and hints of cherry and honey on the palate.
On September 6, 1888, five taxpayers of Flensburg signed a record of the Flensburg Brewery. They chose the best spot for a glacier spring using crystal-clear ice water and brewing to get their cellars. From the 1930s, Flensburg Private Brewery became one of the main breweries in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein under the leadership of Emil Petersen, the honorary consul. He was able to align everyone’s energies with a common objective, and he knew what successful brewing was: knowledge and patience. His far-sightedness led the Flensburg Brewery on the road to prosperity.
From the 1960s, when all the other breweries switched to cheaper crown corks, Emil Petersen held faithful to the swing-top glass, which is the signature consistency of Flensburger beers today.
Pruduced in Dortmunder, Germany.
