Contemporary dry hop, herbal character is equipped by the combination of Challenger and First Gold hops. Using crystal malt within the grist offers a lovely toffee/caramel note and the addition of somewhat black malt adds simply enough astringency to provide a clean dry end.
Greene King IPA bottled beer was once first brewed in 1928 when the Indian Light Ales were first stylish. Alternatively, our beer was once never meant to be shipped over to India however to be enjoyed in the community.
Greene King IPA is our flagship beer, born and brewed in our native land, Bury St Edmunds. We’ve been crafting quality ales on the Westgate Brewery, Bury St Edmunds, since 1799. The roots set down by Benjamin Greene and Frederick King are embedded in the way in which we make our beer these days. Our dedication to brewing hasn’t changed and we still follow the similar passion and craftsmanship to each and every single drop of Greene King IPA.
