The very first single malt bottling from experimental Edinburgh distillery, Holyrood. This young and funky dram has matured in a variety of casks, namely from Oloroso Butts, Pedro Ximénez Hogsheads, Bourbon Barrels and Rum Barriques. They started distilling in 2019, so we are very excited to see this first release from them.
Nose – Dried fruit, tropical fruit, raisins, hint of butterscotch, fresh baked cake, sticky toffee pudding, soft leather, biscuit.
Palate – Toffee, caramel, vanilla, digestive biscuits, ginger spice, butterscotch, tablet, slight savoury salinity, raisins.
