Tasting Notes This Chablis has flavours of crisp, fresh fruit, a harmonious structure and a mineral finish. Its minerality shines through when paired with delicate seafood such as smoked salmon or oysters, or with poultry or veal in white sauce.
History The Bichot Family started a relationship with the House of Jean Bouchard in 1926, going on to purchasing the House in 1955 and in the time that has followed their wines have gone from strength to strength.
Regional Information The vineyards of Chablis are located in France’s Yonne department, in the northern part of Burgundy. Brown limestone soil overlying Pernand and Argovian marl (middle Oxfordian and Jurassic limestone).
