A NOBLE VARIETY: A highly concentrated red wine made from one of Southern Italy’s most noble grapes which finds the ideal habitat in the estate’s soils allowing the Petravia to express its aromatic complexity and discover distinctive traits as it matures
THE AGEING PROCESS: Vinified from 100% Aglianico grapes, the Petravia ages in 225-litre French oak barriques for 15 months, followed by a further 12 months of ageing in the bottle to maximise the expression of the varietals characteristics
