First brewed in 1979 to celebrate 50 years of the iconic MG Rover, Old Speckled Hen owes it’s name to our own paint-splattered factory run-around known fondly as ‘Old Speckled Un’. Brewed in Bury St Edmunds using water from our own chalk well, Old Speckled Hen combines flavours of toffee, caramel and malt to produce it’s unique characteristics. Old Speckled Hen can be paired with a hearty pie or a meaty BBQ for a great combination.
