Thatchers Gold cuts through rich foods with surprising ease, as well as spiced and Asian foods. It’s brilliant with cheese, particularly blue cheese, but it really comes into its own with some good old fish and chips. Pairs very well with desserts too, lifting the sweetness and naturalizing the levels of sugar on the palette.
