Vilafonte Seriously Old Dirt 2021 Magnum 150cl

PRODUCER – The co-venture of South Africa’s Mike Ratcliffe and California’s Zelma Long and Dr Phil Freese of Robert Mondavi Winery fame
TASTING NOTES – A South African red wine displaying notes of ripe red and black berries such as strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants. The palate burst with an abundance of more red and black berry fruits intertwined with drops of spice, excellent tannins and a youthful, elegant nature.
NAME – Seriously Old Dirt is a wine named after our ancient vilafontes soils in which our vines have been growing for almost two decades.
BLEND – Matured for eighteen months in older French oak barrique. Seriously Old Dirt consists of Cabernet Sauvignon (86%), Malbec (6%), Merlot (5%) and Cabernet Franc (3%).
