A big brooding wine with a layer of complexity, it is generous and sweet on the palate, tightening up nicely with an elegant structure of fruit and French oak tannins. It’s the extreme natural environments of the mountains and valleys of the South Island that give the wine of Waipara Hills its intensity, character and complexity.
