Chairmans Reserve was 1st blended in 1999, overseen by then Chairman, Laurie Barnard, as a special project to create a fine quality rum that can represent the iconic style of St Lucian rum. The result has become the flagship rum known for its harmonious well- rounded finesse and style with tremendous character for cocktails and sipping experiences. This limited edition of Chairman’s Reserve Rum celebrates the resplendent beauty and rarity of the St Lucian Parrot (Amazona versicolor) as framed by renowned local artist Daniel Jean-Baptiste. The population of the parrot is around 2k birds and is reliant on the preservation of the rainforest which is its natural habitat
ABOUT THE ARTIST; Daniel Jean-Baptiste is a Caribbean artist living in the paradise of Saint Lucia where sunny skies and abundant water and forest life provide constant inspiration. His artwork depicts underwater scenes, tropical botanical themes, and exotic animals in their rainforest surroundings. Besides his unique artistry, what makes Daniel’s creations particularly special is his use of 10mm Habotai silk as his canvas. The silk’s translucency and natural luster enhance the colours and add a special vibrancy.
RUM BLEND; As a simple line of distinction, Chairman’s Reserve starts with selected aged rums of both Coffey column stills and copper pot stills, married together after maturation, and then re-entered into oak for blending and final finishing.

Bottled at 57% ABV, ‘Navy Strength’ gin harks back to when the British Royal Navy stored barrels of gin below deck, next to stocks of gunpowder. In case of leaks or spillages, the crews needed to ensure the gin had a high enough ABV to be flammable and therefore ‘gunpowder proof’, so the gunpowder would still burn.
Juniper takes centre stage, met with a touch of fresh lime peel along with coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root powder, and dried orange peel.

Due to the heavy, robust nature of the virgin oak casks, this complex s ingle m alt holds its own against a cigar’s heavy tobacco notes. The buttery, creamy tones of the whisky and its 43 % ABV ensure it is perfectly positioned to cut through the dark earthiness of cigar smoke.
ASAVA WHISKY – Matured in American Bourbon barrels and meticulously perfected in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks for the first time in History resulting in a unique expression with an impeccable balance.
TASTING NOTES – Typical tropical fruity note of Rampur with added notes of apricot, blackberry & plum followed with a faint hint of tobacco and spices. The palate is velvety, manuka honey sweetness highlighted by spicy oak, vanilla and balanced with dryness for Indian red wine. The Indian trail lingers with a medium finish.
HOW TO ENJOY – Our smooth, single malt whisky is best enjoyed neat or over ice. This whisky can also be used to create delicious cocktails.
