Durbanville Hills is one of the closest cellars to Table Mountain in Cape Town. The area’s close proximity to the ocean and the swirling mists and breezes that cool the vineyards, together with the endless variety of hills and slopes, result in wines that truly reflect the area’s unique cool climate terroir.
Aromas of poached pear, green apple, orange rind, windfall oranges and hints of cinnamon and star anise. The wine is elegant with a mouth-filling, creamy texture with orange rind and lemon curd flavours ending with a zesty, lingering finish.
Enjoy on its own, slightly chilled, or served with pan-fried hake and a butter, lemon and parsley sauce, roast chicken and Alfredo pasta.

Our winter malt was inspired by the unique selection of New Zealand malts that we chose for our mashbill: Manuka Smoked Malt: The Manuka tree is indigenous to New Zealand, and this is the world’s only manuka smoked malt. It has a smooth, sweet smokiness.
Chocolate Roasted Malt: This is specially roasted for us, and has lovely coffee and chocolate aromas. Toffee Malt: This is a unique malt, roasted at very low temperatures and then caramelised. It adds honey and toffee flavours.
Laureate Distillers Malt: This is a very sweet and floral malt. We have then aged the Winter malt in only the finest first fill bourbon barrels.
