Sandeman Porto Late Bottled Vintage 2015 has a deep almost-opaque ruby colour, and an intenseand complex aroma, notable for its ripe fruit and spicy notes such as ginger and cloves. It alsoharbours a woody resin component and aromas suggestive of tobacco box and cedar, as well as afloral rockrose component. The palate is very intense and complex, with high-quality tannins and afine acidity. Sandeman Porto Late Bottled Vintage 2015 was made in accordance with Porto’s traditionalmethod. Grapes were hand-picked at an ideal maturation stage and pressed. Fermentation tookplace in stainless steel vats under controlled temperatures and was arrested at the optimum pointby the addition of grape alcohol. The resulting wine is naturally sweet and rich, deeply red andfull-bodied, with great aromatic concentration.
